Wales 25

Yet another great Wales weekend, with 22 bikes and four pillions. Wales is as good as anywhere in Europe, apart from high mountain passes. The group was a mixture of those who really enjoy the weekend rides and some newbies on their first organised weekend.

Founded in 1970, the Trail Riders Fellowship is an organisation that promotes motorcycling on the UK’s green road network. It has over 10,000 members in over 40 local groups including more than a few EKAM members.

A few words about former police officer Trevor Shearsmith, who has been helping make riders safer in and around Kent for more than three decades. Trevor is a qualified Masters (with Distinction) rider, a Masters Mentor and Observer Assessor.

Observations…

A run-through of stats for test passes, number of Observers currently training Associates and training and Masters' weekends. We run our stats from 1st March through to 28th February each year, so these figures relate to the 9 months of the 2024/2025 year so far.
