The TRF, the Trail Riders Fellowship, is an organisation that promotes motorcycling on the UK’s green road network.
It has over 10,000 members in over 40 local groups including more than a few EKAM members. The TRF was founded in 1970 in response to legislation which reduced the public’s access on roads throughout the countryside.
All members ride road legal bikes on the countries unsealed Green Road Network, which is an estimated 6000 miles long and the TRF play a big part in keeping these routes open by both keeping them clear form vegetation and spending almost £2 million defending the rights of motorcyclists.
Dean Clements, the East Kent TRF Chairman, has kindly agreed to give EKAM May’s Club Night presentation on what the TRF do and why it’s such great fun riding on the UK’s unpaved roads.
If you’re a member of the TRF or have an off road bike bring it along in May to the Club Night!
