As discussed at earlier club nights, EKAM is moving to a cloud-based membership database. Part of the reason for change was to benefit the committee and the observers. But what’s in it for the rest of the EKAM membership?
Well, for members: -
- It will host the club calendar.
- Those members who organize events, will be able to add events to the calendar, with the ability to add a bit more information about the event. and keep the information more up to date for each event.
- As a member you’ll be able to indicate if you’re attending on Tracker, and see who else is planning on coming to an event.
- Members will also be able to save the event in your own calendar so you should never forget an event again!
- It also allows the event coordinator to message attendees directly if information changes at short notice or the event is cancelled (due to bad weather for example)
- For the moment we will mirror both calendars, but the intention is to move over to Tracker entirely in the near future.
- Every member has access to their own profile page. It contains your address, contact details as well as Emergency Contact Details
- Your data is private, and full data is only accessible to a select few EKAM committee – such as the membership secretary and chairperson etc.….
- You can edit some details yourself - such as what bike you ride, emergency contact details and so on.
- If you’re doing observed rides with one of our observers, then your observed rides run history will be recorded on Tracker, allowing you to build a history of your Advanced Riding journey.
- Your qualification dates are all recorded on Tracker as well – from Advanced Rider Test pass date, to Masters qualification.
- A one stop shop to keep hold of all your details.
So……how to get started?
There is now a link to Tracker on the EKAM website. But you can also access it here: https://ekam.ridethesystem.com/
It’ll bring you to this page: -

To login for the first time, just head to the page, and under new users enter the email address you use to receive all EKAM communications, then click Find Me.
That will then email you a link to set a password as well as give you your username (usually your first and last name with a dot in the middle – i.e. john.smith)
After that you should be in!
More information about Tracker is available at Tracker Information. Or you can go direct to TRACKER.
